Personal safety education teaches real life skills to children and teens. It is the empowering of children with these skills to prevent them from becoming victims of sexual exploitation and abduction. Personal safety skills need to be taught through out a child's life time. We cannot expect our children to know how to respond when confronted with a threatening situation if they have not been taught personal safety. Personal safety education is the active learning of skills which will become life long habits. Personal safety education incorporates using these skills to better manage peer pressure, bullying, drug use, and especially internet safety. |

| What is KidSafe USA? |
KidSafe USA is a full service Personal Safety Education Program. We educate parents, teachers, and children ages 4-teens. We service schools, corporations, and are available for private consultation. We offer programs to children in schools. We offer training for teachers and seminars to parents/caregivers in both schools and corporations.

| Our mission is to empower children and parents with personal safety skills to stay safe and think safe. It is our goal to create confident thinking children. We believe educating the parent/caregivers is paramount. An educated parent becomes confident and empowered to talk with their children about the sensitive issues of personal safety without creating fear in their children. |
| Program Overview |
The KidSafe USA program offers personal safety education for children ages 4-12 and their parents. KidSafe USA teaches safety skills through fun, developmentally appropriate activities including song, art, role-playing, games, and discussion.  This empowering program allows the children and parents to open communication regarding sensitive topics in a safe environment.The program consists of a seminar with parents, a teacher workshop (CEU’s provided), and then is followed by 8 classroom lessons with the children. The mission of the KidSafe USA program is to teach children real world life skills so they are prepared to make decisions regarding their personal safety in their daily lives. We believe personal safety skills should be taught on an ongoing basis so children will know instinctually how to respond to threatening situations just as they are taught in school how to respond to a potential fire and other crisis.
